The Education & Preservation Center is part of the Windmill’s long-term preservation strategy. It gives the organization a practical place to connect repair work, teaching, woodworking, preservation planning, and hands-on knowledge.
Recent issues of The Breeze and Daily Grind have pointed to the same larger need: preserving the Windmill also means preserving the skills needed to care for it. That includes millwright knowledge, woodworking, mechanical repair, historic interpretation, and the ability to train future volunteers and staff.
